OUR PROCESS
Design
At Fiveon3 we will design a 100% fully customisable 3D jersey mock-up to give you an understanding of how your jersey will look. This method will speed up any alterations needed to be made to the design.
This design will take on board any ideas you may have whilst following our proffesional advice.
Adapt
After the 3D mock-up is approved we then begin to bring the jersey into our panelling section. Each jersey consists of 5 panels (Front, Back, Shoulder and 2 Sleeves). These panels will be what is printed in the printing stage.
Once we have created files for all panels of the jersey, we will print out the panels onto sports line sublimation paper. the panels will be collected onto a print tube to then be transferred to our calendar heat press.
Laser
Whilst the sublimation printer prints out the panels ready to heat press, we use our omtech laser cutter to cut out our corresponding fabric panels. using a laser as opposed to cutting by hand ensures every panel is cut to the same dimensions every time.
Transfer
Once all the panels are cut and printed we combine the two into our calendar heat press, the ink on the paper is heated to 200 degrees C which transfers the ink to the fabric.
Sewing
When all the panels have been sublimated they are then sewn together to become a complete jersey.
Finished Product
When all the steps are complete you get the complete product, a perfectly stitched, fully sublimated and game-ready jersey.
